Another Christmas Bites The Dust

Hellooo everyone and I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and The New Year is Good to you. The urge to blog has gone the same way a few other urges have gone, of which we won't get into here BUT I wonder if they make a little blue pill to help get the feeling back.....to go motorcycling, lmao. Anyway, I must say this will go down as one of the good time Christmas' as I do have a few of those and a lot more I would rather forget. Ivy and I had a lot of fun starting with our work Christmas party and the nice little bonus we got. Our festivities began at my sister Wendy's house where the clan gathered to have a wonderful dinner and exchange gifts Christmas eve. All the gifts were greatly appreciated but the best had to be what Wendy got her "special" people, some of which are not family but I guess now have a common bond. Recently Wendy went on a trip to Europe and instead of shopping for trinkets and gifts she got a brainwave and decided to do something special. While in Monte Carlo she brought back some casino coins and had the fitted with a bezel that allows you to wear it on a chain. I will post a picture and you can see why it is one of a kind gift that comes from the heart, now to steal all the rest so I HAVE the only one of a kind, oops sorry the Grinch just slipped out, lmao. Back to our Christmas experience. The best part of Christmas has got to be 1. the utter joy and confusion on the little ones faces at all the sparkle and the gifts they cannot comprehend they are receiving, 2. the gathering of family and friends we sometimes do not get the time to visit. Well this year I got to do both. In years past because I was either on my own or my partner did not have children I usually made the rounds, took pictures and tried to see as many as possible Christmas eve. Last year I stayed home Christmas eve and had a great time with Ivy and her daughters. This year we were on the road again. We got a chance to visit my cousin Herb and his wife Rita who have an open house each year and got to see some family and friends I probably don't see all year. We then traveled up the mountain to visit my proverbial inlaws, but moreover my friends. I have thought about why I feel so hmmmm, comfortable in their presence and I have to say, it is the feeling of being accepted for who you are, if you show up great, if you don't, no hard feelings. I enjoy the warmth shared by people I have grown up with. We have shared quite a few Christmas and a lot more of lifes lessons. I would just like to thank all those that make a difference. I really hope you all the Best in the New Year. Here are a few pictures taken over the holidays.
And just a final footnote, I have say thank-you to poor Ivy who went through hell with my alter ego "The Grinch" this Christmas season and I am sure those who know ....know, lmao, it just comes so easily, I think it's in the genes.

I will ask Mandy the names of the people i don't know. I do know your mom (she's the only one who hasn't aged) Wendy, and I think that is Susan in the one pic. Along with the significant others ive never met. Looks like a good time.
