Day Two

The week-end is finally here,woo hoo.I think Ivy and I are going to the C.N.E Sunday.It has to be close to twenty years since I've been there.Alice T and Mandy took the monkeys via the Go Train and from what Emma says it was a pretty good time,soooo, I think we are going to do the same thing,take the Go train.This is day two of not shaving my head. It has got that velcro thing happening,probably have more cat hair on my head than my own for a day or two. Not to mention my head literally sticking to the pillow,but then it is a bit early for flannel pillow cases,hmmm,have to ask Ivy WHY we do have flannel on the pillows and it IS still summer,lmao.I am posting a couple of pictures I took this morning of a squirrel driving our cat,Gizmo crazey. The shots turned out pretty good. I think the squirrel was after something under the jungle jim.I think the cat was hiding under the lounge as she is in one of the pic's as the squirrel came back and I saw the two of them racing across the yard,alas the squirrel got to the jungle jim before the cat and sat up top just a yakking at the cat down below. The World of Bald ...NOT

Don't know how interesting the following blog subject will be for those perusing this site,BUT I thought it would be interesting to see the transformation from bald,by choice to an almost full head of hair,lmao. I had decided to try the bald look for the summer with full intentions of letting my hair grow in for the winter.I can remember talking to a fellow at work years back,saying if I had more hair gone than I did on my head I would shave it off,rather than try to pretend I had hair by growing it long and wearing a hat.Funny cause that was exactly what budy was doing,and it was fairly long but bald as a billiard ball on top.Well one day he came to work and it was all gone,his hair I mean,lol.He decided to go bald and said I should try it,ya like I was ready for that at the time.Bald doesn't carry the stigma that it once did although I still see the die hards trying to hide the fact that their hair has left the station.Even had a barber one time that wore a wig,man it was hillarious.Sammy was not only bald but the hair he did have,which was not much was sooo grey.He would go to work with this rug that looked like a black squirrel with mange,and his grey hair sprouting out along the edge of the toupe.He thought he looked cool and I guess thats all that really mattered.Well...back to the subject at hand,me,and my bald by choice.I am going to try and not cut my hair for a while,not sure how long I can go,but will post pic's of the "Ghia Pet" every so often.Here are the first two,front and back. This should prove interesting if I can keep it up.The third picture is of someone that DID'NT want her picture taken,lmao. Thought I'd throw in a 30 year old picture for comparison.Got some interesting pictures to post on up-coming blogs.

Thursday Blog

Here it is Thursday already,one more day and we are into the last long week-end of the summer.:(((. I hate this time of year as it seems next thing you know,halloween is here,and so are the cold nights. Then its Thanksgiving and right after, you start to see indications of Christmas. Boy aren't I the bringer of happiness,lmao,thems the facts folks. Ivy and I have been getting off easy the last couple of weeks at work as they are slow this time of year. Informed them that we need a few days off this month and the general consensus was "no problem". I seem to be babbling here so I will just say Happy Labour Day ,hope your summer was a good one.Here are some pictures I "borrowed" from some interesting blogs,I must thank the authors and really hope they don't mind. The New York City pic's I will replace with my own but the elephant pic's will blow my grandson away. He is really into elephants and I thought these two were super. There are a couple of others I will post later,someone is a very talanted painter. The pic of the two monkey's remind me of you know who,lmao.Tata

2nd Try

Well here it is Sunday night,week-end over and back to work tomorrow.I had a blog already typed and a lot more interesting than this one but erased it somewhere in the spell check,alas all my wit has been dampened.The only good thing is that I had put the following pic's on my desk top and they are easily retrieved.Heading to New York in a couple of weeks,will post pictures when we get back.The way I see it is...I am almost fifty now and if it took this long for me to see New York City,well you know,even if I do make one hundred,somehow I don't think they will let me out of the nursing home to go,lol.Here are some random pictures of Jordan and Emily along with their 2nd cousin's Natalia and Dante.Have a great nite .Tata p.s check out the training wheels on the roller,lmao
