Just a Short Post

I am just going to post a short blog tonight. We had the monkey's over during supper, and being the baby birds they are, and the delicious roast chicken Ivy prepared, we had the pleasure of their company for dinner. Emma went for the baby carrots and Jordan had the baked potato, AND he even ate the skin. They are a funny pair and as each day passes I can see their maturity grow each and every day. Even in the way they express themselves, their choice of words seems to increase. As you can see in the pictures, right after dinner most of us headed for the couch, Ivy not only got to cook the meal but was left to do K.P duty, I think she knows it is greatly appreciated. The monkey's make the pictures as I am my old cheerful self. Pretty good one of Ivy and the kids tho. Well that's it for now. Have a great nite all

What my Grand Kids REALLY look like!!!!!

Well....here we are at the end of another week-end,and looking down the barrel of another week of toil, lol. I spent the week-end doing the normal stuff the Monday to Friday workers do, cutting the lawn, visiting my oldman in the nursing home, closing my sisters pool, and installing my step dads wipers. Plus I managed to sneak in a karaoke nite at the Waterdown legion. There were some good singers and some down right god awful singers, but all in all a good time was had by all. My mom and stepdad drove so Ivy and I got into the drink, me beer and her watered down rye, lol. I told her that they put tea in the liguor bottles so that when the old codgers get pulled over they only blow tea breath into the breathalizers, and I think she believed me,lmao. I am heading back to San Francisco on business so I will be posting that adventure. It is just a quick trip there and back the next day. The monkey's came in a little while ago yelling "trick or treat", both wearing their masks. Both were giddy with the expection of Halloween being just around the corner. Here are a couple of pic's, just for you Mike, lmao. I just want to say " Hello" to all those that visit but don't comment, and " thank-you" to those that do leave an encouraging comment or two. Have a great nite.P.S MIKE...get the C.A.A membership,it is the cost of one tow and you are allowed three or four. I have had to use mine a couple of times for boosts and a tow when my fuel pump crapped out. Well worth the cost.
