Been A While

Well...how the time flies when you are having fun.Doesn't seem like almost a month since my last blog. But I see I'm NOT the only one, lol. We made it to Las Vegas and back and had a blast. I think if I were to live there I would end up like buddy on the street with a cup in his hand begging for money for coffee. Amazing how people will put $100 dollar bills in a slot machine and just ignor the guy looking for a hand-out. Anyway enough about bums, lmao. As always everything ends up being more than what it should. We decided to take Ivy's vehicle to the Buffalo airport. After about 90 minutes waiting on the Lewiston bridge to get thru customs we head out on the highway. About fifteen minutes later the goddam truck just dies, I must let you know there is a short in the steering column. I get the truck started and get back on the road and it happens again...well you can imagine what was being said. Well it got us to the airport on time but our plane was over booked and they put us on a later flight. Ivy's suitcase was 20lb over the allowable soooooo Norm let her put some of her stuff in his bags. After some fancy footwork they let her bag go. I had to go back and ask for my suitcase AFTER it was checked in to put my very expensive cologne BACK in my suitcase as it was in Ivy's, they won't allow that in your carry on luggage. We board our plane which is taking us the philidelphia, hope thats how it spelt, lmao. We had an hour wait before our plane to Las Vegas left. The Philli airport is huge, took us an hour to get to our gate. The five hour flight went well and we soon found ourselves in the Fabulous City Of Las Vegas. This is where things started to get better. Along with Ivy and I, my mom and stepdad were on this adventure. The rental car we were supposed to get were all gone, soooo, we eneded up with an up-grade, brand new Impalla, nice car. We found our way to our Hotel which was Circus Circus. We then find out they have no rooms left that we were supposed to get soooo,up-grade. We end up on the 35th floor which is the penthouse I guess, nothing spectacular about the room except for the view. I have a picture, we were so high I thought it was a pic I took from the plane till I saw the lamp reflection in the window, lmao. From here on in it was either, eating, gambling, drinking, or sleeping, lmfao. We did get to see a couple of shows, not real big productions but good ones just the same. I finally got to see Elvis sing in Vegas, this guy won the World Elvis tribute artist in Mephis last year. He was better than just about any Elvis impersonator I have seen. There is one but I was never able to see him in his prime. Just have to believe what I have heard. The show we saw were five tribute artists, Elvis, Madonna, Brittany Speers, Tim McGraw, and Micheal Jackson. All were very good but the kid that did Micheal Jackson was excellent, he had it down pat. We also saw a comedy skit called Viva Las Vegas. They had comics, dancing girls and magicians. Just about sums up the Vegas Experiance, lol. Ivy and I walked the strip where all the Casinos are and I must say they were spectacular. The casino people have spent a lot of money trying to out do each other. I will post some of the pictures I took. We did not win a lot of money but didn't really lose a lot either. We had fun and I guess thats what counts. From what I saw from the pictures of Winners, no one really wins a great deal of cash. I will expand on some of the things we did on following blogs. More pictures later as blogger is having trouble right now.
